We are incredibly proud to announce that Zain Khan, Youth Mentor at Our Community Foundation, has been awarded the UK Coaching National Young Coach of the Year 2024, nominated by Coach Core UK.
This prestigious national recognition reflects Zain’s relentless commitment to supporting and inspiring the next generation. Over the last two years, Zain has grown into an outstanding young leader and role model—delivering football, cricket, and mentoring sessions to over 100 young people every week in Alum Rock, one of the most deprived communities in the UK.
Zain’s journey from a young person to a nationally recognised coach is a powerful example of youth development done right. His ability to relate, lead, and uplift others is making a real, measurable impact in the lives of disadvantaged young people across East Birmingham.
